Same week appointments are often available for new patient consultations, and we hold a small number of priority slots each week for urgent flare ups in established patients.

    What Should I Bring to My First Appointment?

    To make your first visit smooth and productive, please bring the items below. If you are not sure what to bring, our front desk team will walk you through the list during your scheduling call.

    • Recent imaging reports for the joint or condition you want treated, if available

    Do I Need a Referral to Be Seen?

    In most cases, no referral is needed for our regenerative and functional medicine services. Some insurance plans require referrals for certain visits, and our team will check this for you when we verify your benefits. If a referral is needed, we will help you coordinate with your primary care provider so the process is as easy as possible.

    Do You Accept TRICARE and Other Insurance?

    Yes. Coastal Regen is a participating provider with TRICARE, which makes care convenient for retirees, dependents, and military families across Hampton Roads. We also accept several other major insurance plans and Medicare for covered services. Some regenerative procedures are self pay; we always provide pricing in writing before any procedure is scheduled.

    How Do I Reach You After Hours?

    For non urgent questions outside of business hours, please use our online contact form or your patient portal. A member of our team will respond on the next business day. For medical emergencies, please call 911 or go to your nearest emergency department.

    Can I Request Records or a Refill Through the Contact Form?

    Telehealth and Virtual Consultations

    For some functional medicine and follow up visits, we offer secure telehealth appointments.
